![]() There’s Freestanding Ranges, Slide-In Ranges, and Front-Control Ranges. Not an American thing, just a type of range. I am currently seeking a supplier of copper clad window seat slides(one style to match those at Hogwarts). As I design for seniors, I usually put in a 42″ X 60″ rough Opening at the end of the kitchen counter for a window seat slide out starting about 12″ from finish floor(wall framing suitably braced) as small dining for two is the norm. I will use the same windows in my master bath at ceiling. I like to put 36″ X 12″ awning windows at countertop level in my kitchens. Simple Induction cook top with Convection/Micro over and Dishwasher with duel deep sink. And of course to fit with the Park Model design guide, my exterior is 11’8″ X 34′ Back to back plumbing to cut costs. True it hits most of my buttons with the 1/2 bath(although my design has it combined with the utility room and a nice Garden door to a hanging herb garden Balcony) That window wall would only be worthwhile sitting on a waterfront or a high point with view….But even then it would be hard to justify energy costs. I am in total agreement with your assessment. ![]()
